Dr. Mira Neshama Niculescu is a Paris-born teacher of Torah and Jewish Meditation. She received her Doctorate in Sociology of Religion from the Ecole de Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris, and her certificate of “Jewish Mindfulness Teacher” from the Institute for Jewish Spirituality. She learned Torah as an Art Fellow at the Drisha Institute for Jewish Education in New York and as a Yesod European Leader Fellow at the Pardes Institute for Jewish Studies. She currently lives in Jerusalem where studies as a Rabbinic Fellow at Beit Midrash Ha’ El. and teaches at Pardes, Or Ha Lev, and Applied Jewish Spirituality. She writes and teaches online for Akadem, Tenou'a and L'Arche. She chairs the Clergy Council at Roots/Shorashim, an NGO promoting people to people peace-building between Israelis and Palestinians and teaches Jewish Spirituality at various institutions internationally.
